Learn how to receive money through your email address, for selling items on eBay, and how to create invoices and send them.
Receiving money
We'll send you an email every time you get paid. You can then transfer the money to your bank account or spend it online anywhere PayPal is accepted.
Accept money from anyone through your email address
Getting paid is as simple as having an email address. You can get paid even if you don't have a PayPal account yet.
How it works:
- Someone sends money to your email address.
- We email you to let you know that you got paid.
- You open a PayPal account and get your money.
You can then link your bank account to transfer the money to it. Or you can spend the money in your PayPal balance anywhere PayPal is accepted.
Sell through eBay
PayPal is the easiest way to get paid on eBay. Simply select PayPal as your preferred payment option, and eBay buyers will send money directly to your PayPal account.
We'll send you confirmation, letting you know when it's safe to ship your items.
Use online invoicing
Anyone with a PayPal account can send an invoice. PayPal invoices include description, quantity, item ID, price, and taxes. Customers receive the invoice by email and pay online with the click of a button. They can use their credit card or debit card to pay you, even if they don't have a PayPal account. If they have a PayPal account, they can use their PayPal balance, too.
Here's how to create an invoice:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click Request Money.
- Click Create an invoice.
- Enter the required information.
- Click Continue.
- Review the information and click Send invoice.
